SOLD !!! - The original pop top for aluminum cans revolutionized the beverage industry. However, manufacturers are now spending millions of dollars to come up with the next best thing -- a re-sealable can. So far the best they have been able to come up with is a hybrid can consisting of a plastic top bonded to an existing can allowing it to be closed again after opening.

There are significant problems with this approach. First and foremost is this technique increases the costs of each can. Another is that it makes the can physically larger (due to the addition of the plastic top) and this directly impacts warehousing, shipping, and packaging. Hybrid cans also cause significant issues with recycling programs since the can is no longer 100% aluminum. Lastly, to place hybrid cans into manufacturing requires massive retooling expenditures on the part of the bottlers.

The PopSeal™ is a superior design without the limitations of hybrid can designs. The PopSeal™ opens like a standard pop top can and automatically closes after each drink preventing bugs, sand and other contaminants from entering while simultaneously making it spill proof. It doesn't change the size of existing cans so there are no adverse affects on warehousing, shipping, and packaging. It's all aluminum so there are no issues with recycling. Finally, the PopSeal™ is no more expensive to manufacture than existing designs and thus does not require massive retooling to produce.

The SnapWrench™ is in development and operational prototypes have been developed ... and work perfectly! Final engineering changes are being incorporated and patents are being prepared. This product should be available through retailers in 2011.

The basic wrench hasn’t changed much since it was invented. However, one thing all wrenches have in common is that they require the user to keep their hand on the wrench in order to keep it on the nut or bolt. There are numerous times when people need to hold a wrench a specific way in order to get it positioned onto the bolt head, then need to re-grip it in order to apply pressure to it, often times resulting in the wrench falling off the bolt head and causing many an injury.

The SnapWrench™ solves this dilemma and more. This new wrench design incorporates a built in locking mechanism to lock the wrench to the bolt head. The wrench can be used as any standard conventional wrench and when required, the user presses a device in the center of the SnapWrench™ to lock the wrench to the bolt head. Once locked in place, the user can reposition their hands to better apply pressure to the nut or bolt without worrying about the wrench coming off by mistake.

The locking mechanism is so powerful that it is able to take successive blows by a hammer and not lose its grip.

The QikClamp™ hose clamp is currently proceeding with final development. - Ingeniously Simple, Unlimited Applications! Hose clamps in use today are inefficient designs, especially when used on complex mechanisms such as motors, cooling systems, etc. Many times, it’s difficult, if not impossible, to gain access with a screwdriver to loosen or tighten a clamp without first removing obstructions around the clamp. Typical hose clamps incorporate a worm gear with a slotted head and a steel band requiring access at a right angle to the hose in order to access the mechanism.

The QikClamp™ hose clamp overcomes these deficiencies. It installs like a cable tie and tightens with a few clicks of a screwdriver making assembly work significantly faster. It can be removed just as fast. The QikClamp™ solves a typical deficiency with hose clamp designs by allowing the user to gain access to the clamping mechanism at a right angle to the band. In other words, it makes sense that there is clear, unobstructed access in-line with the centerline of the hose.

The QikClamp ™ hose clamp design uses existing banding material (unmodified) and simply replaces the typical worm-gear mechanism found on traditional hose clamps. This new, highly improved design is actually cheaper to manufacture than worm-gear design mechanisms and has much more utility. It is a perfect clamp design for both OEM and after-market applications.

PATENTED - The plastics and silicone rubber extrusion molding industry (US $16-billion) has been plagued for decades by a problem approaching crisis proportions in light of health care, safety and the expense due to frequent plant shutdowns and maintenance.

Molders using rubber or silicone extrusion as part of their manufacturing process use a dusting process to speed production. As the extruded material exits the die plate of the extruder, it is hot and tacky. Dusting the extrusion with a powder coating of talcum or cornstarch enables the manufacturer to move the product quickly to the next phase of production without having to wait for the product to cool completely. The problem is that existing commercial dusting equipment is extremely inefficient leading to a loss of a high percentage of the free dust into the atmosphere coating not only the extrusion, but also the entire factory and workers. The resulting contamination of the manufacturing area results in expensive cleanup costs, costly downtime for the production line and potential safety fines along with increased health costs due to respiratory and other problems caused by airborne contaminants.

Our patented TurboStatic Vortex Duster™ is revolutionary in that it captures and recycles all dusting material which doesn’t adhere to the product as it passes through the dusting head. In addition, the design allows for the thorough dusting of complex extrusions of any shape…all without releasing dusting material into the atmosphere…while providing the extrusion with efficient and uniform coatings — no other product in the market can do this!

The dusting head creates a vortex effect similar in concept to a tornado. The vortex draws residual dusting material to the center of the head where it is recirculated through the filter system. The vortex created by the dusting material coats extrusions at all radial angles, ensuring optimum coatings, even on difficult applications. The vortex effect is so powerful that it pulls in and filters clean 325 cubic feet of factory air per minute during operation. The filters are capable of filtering below 0.05 microns -- all never need cleaning or purging.

The TurboStatic Vortex Duster™ operates at the maximum extrusion speed of currently available molder up to four inches in diameter. Larger sizes are accommodated through different head designs. The TurboStatic Vortex Duster™ is mobile and can be moved around the plant as required. The dusting head rotates to any angle and is mounted on an adjustable boom which can be set to any angle from 0 degrees to 90 degrees.

The TurboStatic Vortex Duster™ easily pays for itself and more through recovery of previously lost dusting material, much higher efficiency in difficult dusting applications, and the elimination of having to shut down manufacturing lines each shift in order to clean dust contaminates from work areas. Plants utilizing the TurboStatic Vortex Duster™ will realize a benefit from having healthier workers that are no longer exposed to lung-irritating dusting materials.

Developed to provide a device to assist professionals in technology fields to accurately read basic colors on ribbon cable, resistors, telecommunications wiring as well as to identify colors during certain assembly work where lighting conditions preclude accurate interpretation of specific colors. The device also has corollary applications for colorblind individuals who wish to determine the basic color of a specific object (market size approximately US $25 billion).

The Color-Sense Pen™ is designed as an indiscriminate device and looks very much like a standard pocket pen. It is approximately the size and shape of a standard ballpoint pen and utilizes a backlit display in the side portion of the barrel to indicate the color the device is reading. The pocket clip of the pen serves as a switch to activate the circuitry. The user presses the clip to activate the pen and slides the tip of the barrel along the color to be identified.

The potential market for the Color-Sense Pen includes technical, professional, medical, as well as hobby distribution channels and children’s toys. According to studies, between eight to ten percent of the world’s population has some degree of colorblindness, the majority of them being male. This market encompasses virtually all individuals with any type of colorblind limitations and translates to a market of over 250 million people.

The Color-Sense Personal™ product is designed for colorblind consumers. The worldwide potential market for this product is in excess of 250 million units (at a suggested retail price of US $99 each, this is $24.75 billion). Using the Pareto Rule of marketing probability that 80% of sales will come from 20% of the available market derives a world-wide sales volume in excess of 40 million units (US $3.96 billion).

The Color-Sense Pro™ Scientific/Technical product differs from the Color-Sense Personal™ product in that it is a sturdy industrial design containing a fully non-conductive barrel. The market for the Color-Sense Pro™ product in the scientific/technical field is based on actual and projected jobs in the electronic repair, broadcast and sound engineering repair, computer, automated teller machine and office machine repair, electrical and electronic installers and repair, electronics assemblers and fabricators and electronics components and accessories testers.

Additionally, the product family also includes a Color-Sense Early Learning Series™ product directly targeting the $20 billion annual market for toys. This design is a portable learning toy for children to teach them to identify colors and will speak, spell and show the color to the child.

This is a very restrictive limitation on their utility and limits where they can be used.

Our revolutionary design creates a fully portable, self-contained, palm-sized impact ratchet with the same impact force as conventional designs, but without external power sources. This means that mechanics and hobbyists can always have an impact ratchet on hand in their toolbox to help with those stubborn nuts and bolts.

There are many instances where impact ratchets are highly desirable but not practical. Examples include farming (where equipment breaks down in the middle of a field), performing maintenance on a boat (either in the water or at the dock), any type of machine maintenance in remote areas (including most 3rd world countries), military uses, underwater repairs, professional mechanics (for quick jobs, this would be much faster and more convenient to use that conventional impact tools), home hobbyists (that would like to have an impact tool for those occasions where they need it, but can't justify purchasing a big impact tool set), plus many other uses.

Some refer to this as a self-leveling device.

The first generation Rockabsorber™ saw demand in the millions of units, but required specially designed machinery to fabricate. Our new Rockabsorber™ II has been upgrade to be easily manufactured using existing production processes.

Have you ever sat down at a table at a restaurant and had it tilting and rocking on you? Then, when you look down, you see some coasters or matchbooks shoved under one leg to minimize the rocking? Well the Rockabsorber™ II makes this a problem of the past. Refit the table with Rockabsorber™ II and the table will be fully stabilized.

The Rockabsorber™ II works on any solid surface such as concrete, cobblestone, tiles, etc. It can be installed on tables, chairs, stools ... anything that utilizes conventional leveling glides. Larger models of the Rockabsorber™ II work on heavier industrial equipment. Intrinsic to the design, the Rockabsorber™ II also acts as a vibration damper for motors and other industrial equipment.

Without enough room for traditional pipe cutters to be used, the only option is the use of a hacksaw to cut the pipe, bend out both ends, run a traditional pipe cutter on them and then clean and debur the ends. This process consumes a lot of time.

The PopCutter™ solves this problem by rapidly and cleanly cutting the pipes without the need for hacksaws, pipe cutters and deburring tools. The PopCutter™ cleanly cuts the pipe as fast as you can snap your fingers.

This process requires the old upholstery to be removed as well as all the staples before new upholstery is applied. Over 90% of the time required to perform re-upholstery is consumed by manual labor removing old staples. Tools that purport to be able to do this today are nothing more than automatic chisels and do very little to speed up the process.

Our Automatic Un-Stapler solves this problem by providing a proprietary technique to allow the device to remove staples almost instantly.

PopCork™

The PopCork™ eliminates the need for a corkscrew or opener. This revolutionary new 2-piece cork design doesn’t require a cork screw in order to open the bottle!

Wine bottles today utilize one of three types of sealing mechanisms: twist-off caps, corks, or synthetic corks. According to wine merchants, the best way to seal the wine bottle is with a twist-off cap. The problem is that people perceive a twist-off cap to be associated with cheap wine…and the wine industry has been unsuccessful in overcoming that perception. Thus the majority of wine bottlers use either cork or synthetic cork.

Over the years, people have invented better cork screws and have tried to invent better corks. But regardless, reality is that if you go to anyplace that serves wine, you see both men and women, young and old, struggling to open wine bottles without breaking the cork or chipping the bottle. We’ve personally seen female bartenders unable to open corked wine and have to ask one of the male wait staff to open it for them. Embarrassing for the bartender, but it highlights a common problem encountered by millions of people around the world that hasn't been solved, even using the fanciest cork screws on the market.

The PopCork™ eliminates this problem by getting rid of the need for a corkscrew or opener. Imagine being able to market wines with a revolutionary new 2-piece cork that doesn’t require a cork screw in order to open the bottle!

The PopCork™ is manufactured using similar material to that of synthetic corks in use today. The unique 2-piece design seals the wine bottle effectively yet can be opened without the use of external devices. The PopCork™ consists of a center plunger and an outer sleeve. The center plunger has a mushroom-shaped head. The outer sleeve consists of a collar with an integral shell. During manufacture, the center plunger is inserted into the shell, then extended. Existing bottling methods are employed to insert the assembled PopCork™ into the bottle. A protective cap is then placed over the PopCork™ and sealed to the bottle.

To open a new bottle, the user removes the protective cap and, using their palm, slams down on the plunger, then lifts out the PopCork™. When done pouring the wine, the user places the PopCork™ back into the bottle, holds the outer collar in place and pulls the plunger back up to reseal the bottle. As an added benefit, as the plunger is pulled up it draws a slight vacuum to help preserve the wine.

Instant Ice Maker

Our Instant Ice Maker doesn’t store any ice, but creates it on demand! Combined with a control mechanism, the user dials-in the size and shape of the ice they want and turns on the system. The ice is formed instantly.

Commercial ice making equipment creates blocks and cubes of ice -- a kind of one-size-fits-all solution. For many applications, this approach is inadequate and has spawned entire industries to take the ice from one configuration to another. One example is the medical field where primary care providers purchase expensive and complex machines to shave ice to pack wounds. Another example is the restaurant/beverage industry that uses complex machines and blenders to crush ice -- often times completely silencing a room while the machines are in operation. Besides the purchase cost of the machines, it's still necessary to have the conventional ice makers to create the "raw product" that is fed into these devices.

Our Instant Ice Maker solves these deficiencies and greatly expands the utility and market. The Instant Ice Maker does not require any ice at all to be supplied to it, only a water line. Combined with a control mechanism, the user dials-in the size and shape of the ice they want and turns on the system. The ice is formed instantly.

Using our Instant Ice Maker, instead of primary care centers having to purchase large, complex and expensive ice shaving machines, they can use the Instant Ice Maker to dial up the exact size ice pellet to effectively pack the wound. For restaurants, instead of using extremely noisy ice crushers and margarita machines, they can use the silent Instant Ice Maker to dial-in the consistency of the ice to mix with the liquid, thus drastically cutting down on the noise.

Additional uses for this invention include the military and third-world countries. The device only requires water and a power source to operate...it can even be powered by a cigarette lighter port in a vehicle or a solar panel. Have you ever drank warm water? Tastes pretty bad, even if it's bottle water. Our Instant Ice Maker can be installed onto water trucks to provide ice for canteens in the middle of the desert! It can be used in third world countries where ice machines are hard to come by. It can be used on boats, ships, RV's ... basically anywhere.
